MAYANEI HAYESHUA MEDICAL CENTER
Mayanei Hayeshua Medical Center (MHMC) is a 320-bed independent community hospital with 18 medical departments and 32 outpatient clinics and institutes. Serving the greater Petah Tikva, Givat Shmuel, Bnei Brak, and Ramat Gan region, the hospital is dedicated to providing world-class care to patients of all backgrounds.
Integrated body/mind healing.
The Mayanei Hayeshua Community Hospital operates on the principle of integrated mind-body health. The Nevzlin Family Foundation supports a project that aims to integrate mental health services in every medical department of the general hospital and all generic outpatient clinics. We will also expand our reach beyond the hospital’s immediate region, by integrating psychiatric and psychological services in generic outpatient clinics throughout Israel. This effort will include educating clinic staff and providing them with the tools they need to address both body and mind. Ultimately, the project will result in the establishment of a professional multi-field research center focusing on mental health issues experienced in general medical wards as well as in rehabilitation centers and other community service facilities.

Support in purchasing medical equipment.
The Foundation supports the purchase of cutting-edge medical equipment for effective diagnosis and treatment. Such equipment can often be prohibitively expensive for hospitals—especially independent community hospitals like Mayanei Hayeshua—to purchase on their own. The life-saving medical equipment we have helped to purchase includes:
Mindray M9 Ultrasound System with integrated Eco-Heart for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU):
This new ultrasound machine enables NICU staff to easily examine a baby’s head, internal organs, hip joints, and more without having to transfer the baby outside the NICU unit, thus preventing exposure to bacteria and viruses. It also assists the neonatal cardiologist in diagnosing the anatomy and functioning of the heart, which is crucial in prenatal infants. In addition, the ultrasound can communicate via WiFi, allowing us to add real-time medical reports to the patient’s medical records.

SLE6000 Ventilator
for the PICU:
A ventilator assists the patient’s breathing and is critical in every ICU department. We helped purchase this top-of-the-line ventilator for use at the new Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, where it is saving infants’ and children’s lives on a daily basis.

Laparoscopic Tower for
the Operation Theaters.
The laparoscopic tower helps doctors perform hysterectomies on women suffering from uterine cancer. It provides visualization and documentation of endoscopy procedures, and gives capacity for arthroscopy and other rigid endoscopy procedures. The tower provides high-quality digital images and video and integrates seamlessly into the normal operation workflow.
